🏆 Learn from a leader in Remote Employee Onboarding! As a judge for the Running Remote Conference Flexible Workplace awards, our CEO, Sacha Connor, was honored to help select Citrix for the Remarkable Employee Onboarding award.

Citrix has been a distributed workforce for decades. It's hybrid work model aims to create an environment that is inclusive regardless of where employees work from. They want everyone to feel that they have equal opportunity to contribute, participate, and grow in their career - and this is reflected in their onboarding program.

At Citrix ALL employees are onboarded virtually, and that's because they believe that this creates a consistent experience and also establishes early on that it is OK to work remotely - this is great role modeling, from the very beginning of an employee's experience with the company.

The onboarding program covers everything from, background information on the company and its culture, to time with the IT team to understand the tech tools and resources they have access to, to identifying their home equipment needs, and to supporting the creation of a 90 day plan so that expectations are clearly laid out.

Each new hire is also paired up with a buddy to help them acclimate and extend their network.

And the results are strong - with an extremely high favorability rating for their onboarding experience.

🎓 CONGRATS on the GRADUATION of 800 Toyota Financial Services USA People Leaders who recently completed a series of 3 different Virtual Work Insider hybrid leadership skills training workshops. TFS lives the Toyota value of “Continue the Quest for Improvement” and was quick to identify that they could be proactive in preparing their teams for the transition to a hybrid work model.

The instructor-led hybrid skills training workshops were given fully virtually and they focused on building the skills needed to lead, communicate, collaborate, influence, and build culture across distance. And the workshops built on a foundation of hybrid and remote work skills developed from the eLearning program employees had already taken from our partner, Workplaceless.

It was an honor for Virtual Work Insider to facilitate the workshops for TFS and to help them enter the hybrid work model with the mindsets, tools, and skills to succeed. We had great attendee engagement in each live session and post-training data supports that learners have already taken action on the practical information that was taught.
